Thermal Analysis

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC): DSC is a thermo-analytic technique useful to identify any thermal event of a material: glass transition, crystallization, melting, evaporation, reaction, decomposition.

Imperia’s Materials Engineering Laboratory is also equipped with environmental chamber, ovens, and furnace. Materials can be studied at temperature ranging from -58ºF (-50ºC) to 2,732ºF (1,500ºC) for aging effects and determination of maximum operating temperature.
